Our room module is very well insulated. First, space is created for the insulation with a wooden layer, followed by a foil that gives moisture no chance. Then the insulation is continued with high-quality mineral wool. The whole thing is finished off with impregnated sheetrock. Together with our double-glazed windows, we achieve such a high insulation value that all "requirements for residential buildings" of the german energy-saving ordinance EnEV are fulfilled.

There are two air conditioning units with a heating function installed. If desired, underfloor heating can also be integrated in order to generate a constant basic heat. A wood or pellet stove can also provide a cozy warmth. A 27 KW instantaneous water heater is installed in the bathroom for hot water preparation.
Our module is supplied with power via a high-voltage connection and a fuse box. Of course, also a solar panel can be installed on the roof.
In the sanitary area, we have attached great importance to design and functionality. Whether rain shower, wash basin, concealed toilet or the warm towel rail. Nothing is left to be desired, there is even space for a small washing machine. The kitchen offers enough storage space to cook delicious dishes. A stove and an oven are already integrated, all you have to do is bring your dishes and kitchen utensils.

The floor of our modules is reinforced with Zetrix cement panels for insulation, on which a solid click laminate is laid. The modern baseboards complete the picture. Energy-saving LED lamps are installed in the ceiling.

Decking boards made of WPC (resource-saving wood composite material) are inexpensive, weather-resistant, easy to implement and a real eye-catcher!
Do you have a hillside property?
No problem! Simply place your module on metal stilts. A terrace extension is also possible.

Are the modules also available in other sizes?
Unfortunately, we are limited to the dimensions of the container. This means that we can only produce 12x3 meter modules. But there is also the possibility of combining several modules, for example in an L-shape or as an additional level. The extension can also be a 6x3 meter module.
Which connections are required?
"Fiona" requires a 32 ampere high voltage connection, a 1 inch water inlet and two water outlets, one 110 mm in diameter and one 50 mm in diameter.
Are there other costs that will incur?
The delivery of the module is included in the price.
Upon delivery you have to pay around €500 for the rental of a crane that will lift the module from the truck to your property.
Depending on your country there are also costs for the building permit.
Which foundation do I need?
A simple screw-in foundation is sufficient. Depending on the subsurface, even eight foundation stones are enough as support points for our module.
Where is the wardrobe?
One possibility would be a bed with storage space under the mattress.
You could also put the bed on one side of the room and thus have space for a full-fledged wardrobe.
Wall cabinets would be another idea.
What is the roof's load-bearing capacity?
The roof can easily withstand 130 kg/m², which corresponds to around 1.3 kn/m², so our "Fiona" can easily cope with heavy snowfall.
If a second module is planned as a superstructure, this is placed on the supporting pillars, which can even carry 60 tons.
Do all models have the facade with wood elements?
Yes, we like that very much and it is standard now.
Can the module also be placed on campsites?
Normally this is not allowed because our module has no wheels. But it might still be worthwhile to just ask the campsite.
How is "Fiona" isolated?
The walls of our room module consist of a wooden rack with mineral wool insulation, two plasterboard and the outer metal wall. Overall, we come to a wall thickness of 20 centimeters.
Can a wood stove also serve as a heat source?
The installation of a wood or pellet stove is no problem.
There is also the possibility that we only prepare the fire protection and the chimney opening and you can choose the stove yourself.
I like the concept of "Fiona" very much, but I would like to have a different room layout. Is this possible?
Theoretically, everything can be changed on our room modules, but we can only offer them so reasonably priced because they are standardized. Changes are generally always possible, but are ultimately transferred to the price due to the increased planning and workload.
